TCS named among top 10 titans in global employment

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a leading company under the Tata Group, has secured a position among the top 10 companies worldwide in terms of workforce. According to data from the World of Statistics, TCS boasts a workforce of 6,14,795 employees and ranks sixth in terms of providing employment.The companies that are ahead of TCS include Walmart and Amazon with 21 lakh and 15.41 lakh employees respectively, followed by Foxconn with 8.26 lakh employees and Ascent  and Volkswagen with 7.33 lakh employees each. Meanwhile, the list of top 100 companies include other prominent Indian companies such as Infosys, Mahindra, and Reliance Industries. While Infosys employs 3.28 lakh individuals, Mahindra has a workforce of 2.60 lakh employees followed by Reliance Industries with 2.36 lakh people.
