Tehri Acro festival 2023 commenced today at Tehri

Organised by the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board and District Administration, Tehri Garhwal, the five day long festival will see participants from more than 25 countries performing various aerial acrobatic stunts and taking part in 3 paragliding competitions. The event is slated to be India’s first event of such scale. Uttarakhand is not only the Land of Gods but also the Land of Rivers and mountains, including stunning landscapes, hills terrain, and a significant water reservoir and is situated in the Garhwal region of Uttarkhand. Tehri is blessed with picturesque landscapes, with the Himalayan mountains forming a stunning backdrop. The district is surrounded by lush forests, meadows, and numerous water bodies. Tehri acro festival competitions include categories like best trick, best synchronized team, or freestyle routines.
