Tejas Mk-1A Deal Cleared :
The Ministry of Defence, which has approved a ₹62,000 crore deal for 97 additional HAL Tejas Mk-1A multirole fighters, has been asked to speed up. Deliveries are set to begin in March 2027 (FY27), with the jets featuring AESA radar and the indigenous Uttam radar from 2028 onward.
