Telangana govt transfers 12 IAS officers; Spl Secy Jayesh Ranjan among those affected UPDATED

The Telangana government has on Wednesday transferred top 12 IAS officers including the Special Chief Secretary for Hyderabad Metropolitan Area, Jayesh Ranjan.

Ranjan, an IAS officer of 1992 batch of Telangana cadre has been posted as posted as Special Chief Secretary to Government, Environment, Forests, Science & Technology (EFS&T) department. He was also placed in Full Additional Charge (FAC) of the post of Director General, EPTRI.

Other senior officers transferred are—

Vikas Raj (IAS 1992, Telangana), Special Chief Secretary to Government, Transport, Roads & Buildings Department, was transferred and posted as Special Chief Secretary to Government, Energy Department.

A. Vani Prasad (IAS 1995) Special Chief Secretary to Government, Youth Advancement, Tourism and Culture (YAT&C) department was transferred as Special Chief Secretary to Government, Sports and Director, Heritage Telangana. 

Navin Mittal (IAS 1996) was posted as Special Chief Secretary to Government, Panchayat Raj & Rural Development, Rural Water Supply, and Rural Sanitation / Rural Social Audit (PR & RD, RWS & RSAD) department.

Shailaja Ramaiyer (IAS 1997) has been posted as Principal Secretary to Government, Revenue (Endowments) Department. 

Rahul Bojja (IAS 2000) Principal Secretary to Government, Revenue (DM) department was transferred as Principal Secretary to Government, Tribal Welfare Department. He shall continue to hold the FAC post of Principal Secretary to Government, BC Welfare department. 

Ilambarithi K. (IAS 2005) was posted as Secretary to Government, Transport, Roads and Buildings department.  Ilambarithi shall continue to hold the FAC post of Secretary to Government, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development & Fisheries (AH, DD & F) department.

Sarfaraz Ahmad (IAS, 2009) Metropolitan Commissioner, HMDA, was transferred and posted as Secretary to Government, Metropolitan Area & Urban Development (HMDA Limits) and Special Officer for Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, Cyberabad Municipal Corporation and Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation.

Shruti Ojha (IAS, 2013) was posted as Special Secretary to Government, Women, Children, Disabled and Senior Citizens (WCD & SC) department. 

Md. Musharraf Ali Faruqui (IAS, 2014) Chairman and Managing Director, Telangana Rythu Power Distribution Company Ltd., was transferred and posted as Director, Health & Family Welfare. He was also placed in FAC of the post of Director, Institute of Health & Family Welfare. Faruqui was also placed in FAC of the post of Chairman and Managing Director, Telangana Rythu Power Distribution Company Ltd.

Sangeetha Satyanarayana was posted as Director, WCD & SC.

Jitesh V Patil, Chairman and Managing Director, TGSPDCL, was placed in FAC of the post of Vice Chairman & Managing Director, TGREDCO relieving Faruqui from FAC of the said post.
