The tenure of Parameswaran Iyer as Secretary, Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation has been extended upto April 2019. He is a 1981 batch IAS officer of UP cadre. Infact,he had resigned from the IAS but the Government appointed him as Secretary in the GoI.
