Karan Thapar is all set to join Deptt for Promotion of Industries & Internal Trade (DPIIT) as Dy Secretary under Central Staff in Scheme on deputation basis for four years. He is 2009 batch IRS (C&CE) officer. Presently he is posted in GST & CE Zone, Guwahati.
