The voluntary retirement application of IPS officer Puroshottam Sharma rejected

The Madhya Pradesh Government has rejected the voluntary retirement application of the seniormost officer of Indian Police Service (IPS) in MP Cadre Puroshottam Sharma. He is a 1985 batch officer. According to an order issued by the Home Department, Puroshottam Sharma, Special Director General of Police , Police Headquarters had sought voluntary retirement from the service. But since two Departmental Inquiries are pending against him, his application is hereby rejected.
