This is the state of affairs in ITAT

The President's position is vacant since Justice Bhatt retired on 5th September 2021. 2 Vice Presidents of the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal will retire in the two weeks- Pramod Kumar, Vice President (Mumbai) retired this Friday, the 11th, and Pramod Jagtap, Vice President (Ahmedabad), retires on Friday, the 18th. The vacancies on Sushma Chowla's retirement (Vice President, ITAT, Hyderabad, on 30th October 2020 and N K Saini's retirement (Vice President, ITAT, Chandigarh, on 23rd August 2022) have remained unfilled too.
