Three Ladies have made history by grabbing male dominated posts in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). Mrs Soma Mondal, Director (Commercial), SAIL, entered into a bastion of male chauvinism being selected as first woman Chairperson of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) while Mrs Renuka Gera, who enjoyed being ‘First Lady Executive Director’ of BHEL, has also created yet another history being first woman selected for the post of Director (Industrial System & Products), Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL). Besides, Mrs Harjeet Kaur Joshi has been enjoying the post of CMD, Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) since December 19, 2019. She is the first woman Chairperson of SCI.
