Three Secretaries belong to same batch

In the ministry of finance, three out of five Secretaries belong to the 1987 batch. T V Somanathan, Expenditure, Tuhin Kant Pandey, DIPAM and Debashish Panda, Financial Services are from the 1987 batch. Tarun Bajaj, Secretary, Economic Affair is 1988 batch IAS officer. The senior most AB Pandey is a 1984 batch Maharashtra cadre IAS officer and scheduled to retire next year in February. He is Finance Secretary also.
