Transfer list of IPS officers soon in Telangana!

In Telangana, speculation is rife that the Government is set to reshuffle IPS officers. Actually, two senior IPS officers of the Telangana cadre - Charu Sinha and Akun Sabharwal - who have completed their Central  deputation of at least six years each, have returned to the state and reported to the Government. Both officers are awaiting postings. The Government is set to reshuffle IPS officers and thus assigning postings to Charu Sinha and Akun Sabharwal. Sinha, a 1996-batch IPS officer, was the first woman to serve as IG of CRPF Southern Sector. She also held responsibilities in the CRPF’s Kashmir Sector. Akun Sabharwal, a 2001-batch officer, served as IG, ITBP. During his tenure as Director of Enforcement and Vigilance in the Excise Department, he handled a high-profile drugs case involving Tollywood directors, actors, and actresses.
