The Karnataka government has modified the transfer orders of some IPS officers who were posted earlier. The Karnataka government has modified the transfer orders of some IPS officers who were posted earlier. Chandragupta is now posted as IGP, Intelligence, while Y S Ravi Kumar is shifted as IGP, Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and Shantanu Sinha will take over as DIGP, Northeastern Range, Kalaburagi. Similarly, Dr Gopal M Byakod is appointed as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Bengaluru South; Jitendra Kumar Dayama will continue as Superintendent of Police (SP), Anti-Naxal Force, Udupi; Mithun H N was appointed as DCP, Law andOrder, Mangaluru City and Dr Simi Mariam George will continue in the post of Joint Director, Forensic Science Laboratory, Bengaluru.
