Turn around of NMDC in just six months

GoI ‘s decision to post senior IAS officer as CMD NMDC on deputation has yielded outstanding results. During this financial year NMDC recorded highest ever production and sales of iron ore since its inception 60 years ago. Govt received 7500 cr as buy back, 938 cr as interim dividend,  278 cr as dividend tax & 1200 cr by divesting it’s shares in the market. Retail shares were oversubscribed by 600% . Well done  Baijendra Kumar (IAS : CG) for this turn around in just 6 months.
