Two Chief General Managers (CGMs) are whispered to have been sitting on the report of amendment in Recruitment Rules (RR) for around three years in National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) despite strict instructions by all the past Chairpersons and present incumbent in their respective tenures. As a result, the NHAI, which has launched 10 lakh crore road projects in the country, is unable to carve out its own cadre and strengthen manpower. Are the PMO and concerned Ministry aware of it ?
