Two CMs pick up Juniors as Chief Secretaries despite opposition

No sooner was the name of Somesh Kumar proposed for the post of Chief Secretary than a coterie of IAS officers voiced protest against the decision of Chief Minister of Telangana on appointing a junior of 1989 batch.  The Chief Minister showed his political will and signed the proposal of Somesh Kumar for the same. Similarly, the protest erupted in Meghalaya where Chief Minister appointed a 1987 batch junior IAS officer, M S Rao as Chief Secretary keeping seniors at bay.
