Two DRDO officials sentenced

The Special Judge, CBI Cases, Bangalore has sentenced Commander K Harikumar, the then Logistic Officer and K Ventakesh Prasad, then UDC, both working in Centre for Airborne Systems (CABS) in Defence Research Development Organization (DRDO), Bangalore to undergo three years Rigorous Imprisonment with fine of Rs 35,000 on found guilty of evasion of customs duty by fraudulently declaring that the imported items were meant for government use.
