Two key persons in race for new RBI Dy. Gov post

Deepak Mohanty, Economist and Executive Director of Reserve Bank of India (RBI),  stands a better chance of becoming the Deputy Governor of the apex banking institution, say RBI insiders, as Govt had been looking for a person who would be consistent with his tenure and not leave the institution abruptly. The other top contender for the post is Principal Economic Advisor to the Finance Ministry, Sanjeev Sanyal.
