Two officers holding same post of Surveyor General of India from same date

After the retirement of Lt General Girish Kumar from the post of Surveyor General of India on December 31, 2019, the Government of India appointed Naveen Tomar to the same post from January 1, 2020. Now, the Government of India has again appointed Lt Gen Girish Kumar to the same post on contract basis for a period of one year with effect from the same date January 1, 2020.
