Two-year service at SP/DIG level mandatory for IG level empanelment in GoI
The IPS officers 2011 batch onwards will be eligible for the empanelment at Inspector General (IG) and Inspector General (IG) equivalent posts only if they have served minimum two years at SP/DIG level or equivalent in the Government of India.
