UNCTAD hails Rohit Kumar Singh for support to consumer protection efforts

The UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) has expressed its appreciation for Rohit Kumar Singh, Secretary, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, GoI, for his participation at the seventh session of the Intergovernmental Group of Experts on Consumer Protection Law and Policy, held in Geneva, Switzerland, on July 3 and 4, 2023. A letter of appreciation from Rebecca Grynspan, Secretary-General, UNCTAD, mentions she is particularly appreciative of Singh's decisive support for the work of UNCTAD and for the interesting initiatives India is undertaking. She said she looks forward to his continued cooperation strengthening consumer policies around the world.
