The Government of India (GoI) is planning to eliminate the stage of the state’s approval in the relieving of the all India service officers, brought back to the Government of India (GoI). Hitherto, the officer is relieved after the state gives its approval. In recent past, a few instances have come to fore wherein, the state delayed in the release of the officers. The proposal is being consulted aggressively in the Home Ministry.
