"Union Home Minister's Special Operation Medal" for 2023 announced

The Union Home Minister's Special Operation Medal" for the Year-2023 has been awarded for 4 Special Operations by the Ministry of Home Affairs. The awards will be conferred to CRPF, NIA, NCB for their respective operations where as the states that will receive the award include Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Tripura, West Bengal and Uttarakhand. The award is given for Special Operation in areas such as counter terrorism, border action, arms control, prevention of narcotics smuggling and rescue operations.
