Union Minister launches two audio and braille book editions of former IAS officer Dr Jain

Virendra Singh, Union Minister for Department  for Empowerment of Disabled, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, launched two audio and braille book editions of 'Delhi ki Bulbul' and 'Kuch Karoge Kya' of Dr Anita Bhatnagar Jain, former IAS officer and presently Trustee, National Book Trust,Government of India. The audio versions have been recorded and sound effects have been suggested by Dr Jain. Both the audio and braille versions have been made at the National Institute for Empowering Visually Handicapped Persons, Dehradun. Minister after listening to audio stories appreciated them and said that they would provide knowledge as well as entertainment to persons with visual disabilities. Stories written by Dr Jain for children are now available in 14 languages and she has been the recipient of many awards.
