UP cadre bureaucrats likely to get more weightage

To face the proposed UP assembly elections, due in February - March next year, bureaucrats of UP cadre are likely to get more importance at the centre.  Recently, Dr Anoop Chandra Pandey has been appointed new Election Commissioner. He retired as CS two years ago. Sources said that it shows the UP cadre officers- working or retired are likely to get more weightage.
