UP govt to abolish six allowances ?

UP govt has reportedly decided to to do away with six allowances given to state govt employees. These include City Compensatory Allowance, Secretariat allowance and special allowance to JEs. By abolishing these allowances, the state govt could save Rs 1500 crores annually. Orders in this regard are likely to be issued within a day or two.
