V K Johri, Special Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat, has been appointed as Director General of Border Security Force. Johri, who belongs to a 1984 batch IPS officer of MP cadre, will work as Officer on Special Duty (OSD), MHA till the superannuation of present incumbent on August 31, 2019.
