Vacancy of PESB Chairman dragged on interminably

An inordinate delay in appointment of new Chairman, Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has emerged as a stumbling block to the timely recommendation and appointments to various Boards in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). The PESB has to hold interviews for around one hundred vacancies/backlog. All the scheduled meetings have been withheld for want of Chairman since September, 2020.
