Various IPS posts vacant in CPOs/CAPFs

As per September 2024 data, 2 Additional Director General (ADG) and 30 Inspector General (IG) posts are lying vacant in CPOs/ CAPFs. The two ADG posts are for Border Security Force (BSF) and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) while the vacant IG posts include: one each for CISF, NEPA, IB and NCRB;  two each for BPR&D, CBI and SSB; four for NIA; five each for ITBP and CRPF and six for BSF.
