Veterinary services be considered as Essential Services, Centre to States

Ministry of Fishreies, Animal Husbandry and Dairying has urged the States to consider the Veterinary services in the list of "Essential Services" Upamanyu Basu, JS in the Ministry, has written a letter to the Chief Secretaries of states in this regard. He further requested that veterinary hospitals, dispensaries, including private Veterinary clinics, veterinary pathology, animal shelters etc function in the normal course be brought under essential services during complete lock down to check the spread of COVID - 19.
