The MHA is believed to have cleared the name of K S Chahal for the post of SSP Chandigarh Administration. According to insiders the Governor wanted 2011 batch IPS officer Vivek Sheel Soni but the Punjab Chief Minister insisted for 2009 batch IPS officer Chahal.
