VRS request of Nabakishore cancelled; likely to be next CS, Manipur

The Government of Manipur has reportedly cancelled the Voluntarily Retirement request of Oinam Nabakishore Singh, IAS, fueling speculations that he could be made next Chief Secretary of Manipur on October 1, 2017. The present incumbent Rajni Ranjan Rashmi is retiring on September 30, 2017.  Singh, who is 1984 batch officer of Manipur cadre, is due to retire in November 2019.
