WCL CMD Manoj Kumar honored with IMMA Lifetime Achievement Award

Manoj Kumar, Chairman cum Managing Director, Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) was honored with the prestigious IMMA Lifetime Achievement Award. This award was given to him during the national seminar organized on “Green Mining Initiatives: Indian Mineral Industry Perspective” on January 13 in Nagpur. Under Kumar’s leadership, WCL has made unprecedented achievements in coal production, OB extraction and dispatch. He has long experience and made immense contributions in the field of coal mining. Kumar promoted the extensive use of new mining technology in WCL and through initiatives like Project 'TARASH' and Mission SHEHAT, he inculcated positivity in the culture of WCL.
