Wecom Fiber Rachel Solomon appointed Chief Executive Officer

Wecom Fiber (US broadband infrastructure company, Phoenix, Arizona; backed by Searchlight Capital Partners), appointed Rachel Solomon as Chief Executive Officer. She previously served as Senior Vice President of Technical Operations & Engineering for Comcast’s West Division (overseeing 14 states and more than USD 4.8 billion in capital/expense). The move aims to accelerate fiber expansion to underserved/rural Arizona communities. Outgoing CEO Paul Fleming transitioned to Chairman of the Board and Head of Government & External Affairs, focusing on stakeholder/government partnerships.
