The Ministry of Heavy Industry is yet to appoint Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Heavy Engineering Corporation Limited (HEC), as the PESB had recommended to the Ministry to choose an appropriate course of further action for the selection after it failed to find suitable candidate at two sittings of interviews. Presently, BHEL CMD Dr Nalin Singhal is holding an additional charge of HEC.
