What is going to be the fate of Banks Board Bureau?

Presently the Banks Board Bureau is headless. There have been no selections in Banks and Insurance Companies for the last five months. The bureau is an autonomous body that was set up by the GoI on April 1, 2016, to recommend top-level appointments, including Chairpersons and Managing Directors, for Public Sector Banks and financial institutions.
