What is the truth in this rumour about retirement age ?

The country is agog with reports in the social media that the DoPT has cleared the file  for 60 years or 33 years of service which ever the first  for all the Central Government employees. One thing is correct that the DoPT has sought information from all the services and cadres about the employees by Sept 30. Except the PM no-one knows the reality. There may be plans to merge various cadres since there is multiplicity.Retirement planning can happen only when the Government finds the money and it requires over one lakh crores. Will this happen ?
