If the tweet of the PM Narendra Modi showering praises on his Principal Secretary Nripendra Mishra is to be believed, it means inning of Misra is over. Media, however, says he would be appointed Governor of newly created UT J & K. One can now wait and watch.

It is widely believed that soft spoken and well meaning person P K Mishra will succeed Nripendra Mishra as Principal Secretary to the PM Narendra Modi. He is former 1972 batch IAS officer of Gujarat cadre.

Who will be new Additional Principal Secretary to the PM ? Guessing game is on and the name of Outgoing Cabinet Secretary P K Sinha is in circulation. A 1977 batch IAS officer Sinha cannot be made Principal Secretary since P K Mishra belongs to 1972 batch. His special relationship with the PM is well known in the corridors of power.
