NPCIL CMD, S K Sharma to continue or retire in Nov ?
The tenure of Satish Kumar Sharma as Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL), is reportedly coming to an end in November this year. However, the Government of India has not advertised the post to fill the vacancy fueling speculation that he may get extension to the post.
Railway Board starts overhauling

Railway Board to be re-organized
Govt is going to re-organise Rail Bhawan (RB). This will be done on the recommendations of Debroy Committee report which was submitted about three years ago. According to report, now Board will have less officers. More than 50 officers will be placed at Zonal level. These officers are Director and above levels. Debroy Committee was set up when NDA govt came into power in 2014.

Railways is on overhaul mode
Govt is strengthening field staff. About 100 personnel were transferred from Railway Board to various field formations, many vacant posts at various level in the fields are being fill up, repair work has been taken up on war footing. Some more tough decision are on the cards.
