Latest information says that Om Prakash is being appointed new Chief Secretary of Uttarakhand in a day or two. He is 1987 batch IAS officer.

Uttarakhand Chief Secretary Utpal Kumar Singh is expected to get six months extension in service beginning August 1. He is 1986 batch IAS officer. If no extension, 1987 batch IAS officer Om Prakash may be appointed Chief Secretary.
