Rajiv Onkarnath Jalota is said to be ahead in the race for the post of Chairman of Mumbai Port Trust. He is 1988 batch IAS officer of Maharashtra cadre. Another contender for the post, 1997 batch IAS officer of Maharashtra cadre Asheesh Sharma is also said to be in the panel.
