Arun Kumar Singh appointed Chief Secretary of Bihar on Feb 27

Singh is front runner for CS race

If the present Bihar Chief Secretary Anjani Kumar Singh is not granted second  extension, Arun Kumar Singh may be appointed Chief Secretary on June 1. Singh is a 1985 batch IAS officer and presently posted in the cadre.

Jaideep Bhatnagar takes over as Pr DG PIB on March 1

Who will be the new Pr DG, PIB ?

Guess work has started as to who will be the new Pr DG, PIB in February when K S Dhatwalia, the present Pr DG  retires. According to sources, two officers - Jaideep Bhatnagar and N V Reddy -are ahead in the race. Bhatnagar is presently working as Pr DG, AIR News while Reddy is yet to join the cadre.

Jaideep Bhatanagar has been appointed as OSD before taking over as Principal Director General, Press Information Bureau (PIB). He is a 1986 batch IIS officer.
