Whispers Survey: Amit Shah leads the pack as the best minister in PM Modi’s cabinet; Ashwini Vaishnaw, S Jaishankar follow

Amid speculations doing rounds in political circles about a reshuffle of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s cabinet, Whispers In The Corridors carried out a survey to judge what surfers feel about the present cabinet and how they rate the performance of the ministers in the Modi Cabinet.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, is a clear winner, with the highest number of respondents naming him as the best-performing and most efficient minister in the Cabinet.

On the second and third number, He is followed by the two outspoken faces of the Modi government, Dr. S. Jaishankar, Minister of External Affairs and Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister for Railways, Information & Broadcasting, Electronics & Information Technology.The popularity of Bureaucrats turned Politician in survey is worth noting.

Next in the ranking is Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Road Transport and Highways. He is followed by Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.

Jyotiraditya Scindia, Minister of Communications and Development of North Eastern Region, comes next and Parliamentary Affairs and Minority Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju.

Surprisingly, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan received equal support in the survey.

Other ministers who found mention in the responses include Jitin Prasada, Raj Bhushan Choudhary, Mansukh L. Mandaviya, Satish Chandra Dubey, Jitan Ram Manjhi, Dr Jitendra Singh Rana, Bhupender Yadav and Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu.
