Who poured cold water on appointment of Sumit Deb as CMD, NMDC ?

Whisper has it that the Appointments Committee of Cabinet (ACC) has withheld the file of Sumit Deb, Director (Personnel), NMDC Limited moved for the appointment as CMD, National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) after alleged complaints. A vacancy of this post is arising on August 1, 2020 with the superannuation of incumbent N Baijendra Kumar in July this year.
