Who will be DG, CISF?
With the departure of O P Singh to UP as DGP, lobbying has started to grab the post of DG, CISF. 4 names- Shiva Nand Jha(Gujarat), A P Maheshwari(UP),Sudip Lakhtakia(Telangana) and A K Patanaik(Gujarat cadre) have already started doing the rounds for the post. Jha and Patanaik are 1983 batch IPS off

Jha and Patanaik are 1983 batch IPS officers while Maheswari and Lakhtakia belong to 1984 batch IPS .
