Since CVC is the watchdog of the country, final say in this appointment will be of the PM Narendra Modi. It is said that perhaps for the first time, Politicians and Babudom have differences over the probable names. One has to wait to see that who wins in this cold war ? In such a situation, PM may ask present CVC Sanjay Kothari to continue for more time though unlikely because of the Constitutional bar.
