Who will be new Election Commissioner?

One vacant prestigious post of Member Election Commission of India has now generated curiosity in the corridors of power. One post of EC has been lying vacant since June. Names of three IAS officers –outgoing Secretary Defence Ajay Kumar, Outgoing Secretary Revenue Tarun Bajaj and UP Chief Secretary D S Mishra, two retired IPS officers Y C Modi and Rakesh Asthana and IIC officer Akshay Raut are already doing the rounds in the corridors of power.
