Who will be next EC ?

One post of Election Commissioner (EC) has fallen vacant in July this year and about half a dozen IAS and non-IAS officers are trying their luck. After Gujarat experience,  it is certain that no one would be chosen on seniority basis. This time PM Narendra Modi will be extra cautious in selecting new EC because he would be the one who would conduct next Lok Sabha polls as the Chief Election Commissioner then.
