Who will be next TamilNadu Chief Secretary ?

Since Chief Secretary of TamilNadu K Shanmugam has been given three months extension in service w.e.f. Aug 1, talks have already started about his successor. Now tie is said to be between 1985 batch IAS officer Dr Rajeev Ranjan and 1986 batch IAS officer Hans Raj Verma. The first choice of the Government  - 1987 batch IAS officer Dr T V Somanathan, is unlikely to return from the central government.
