Why banks are batting for stimulus ?

Some rating agencies and Experts say that Banks have no right to ask for stimulus because they, especially PSBs, are solely responsible for the present situation of economic slowdown. They appreciate peoples' friendly approach and steps taken by the RBI to give boost to economy. Even the Apex Bank, in the past had, urged PSBs to pass relief to consumers but banks could not. PSBs rigid attitude has resulted the present situation.
