Why deputationists want repatriation in ED ?

If sources are to be believed, some recently appointed Deputy Directors want their repatriation from ED. It is said that while applying, all officers had given their choice  of place of postings but most of them were  posted against their choice to opposite direction. They are said to hurt by the unilateral decision of the hq and some officers are reportedly applying for repatriation.
